The relationship between POC and hyperpigmentation is TOO real. Feeling pretty lazy and my acne marks are bothering me more than usual tonight so here's my short brightening PM routine:
Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution -- forgot about how much I love this. I stopped using it for awhile because at one point I went a little overboard with all the AHA use. Formulated with Tasmanian Pepperberry which helps with irritation caused by acid use, aloe, and amino acids.
Raw Sauce Essence -- 97% Maple Water Sap which is an amazing humectant!
Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate
🌚 The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% -- posted plenty about this on my personal account, but Niacinamide (Vit B3) helps suppress melanin production so it's great for reducing hyperpigmentation and acne marks. It's supported by zinc which helps with sebum production. 🌚 #swbasics
Oil Serum -- Avocado, Turmeric, Caffeine, and Geranium oils! Rich in fatty acids
🌚 @deciem's Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% -- MAP is a much more stable Vitamin C derivative that helps brighten/fade acne marks and you're actually able to use it alongside Niacinamide. Normally using Niacinamide with other Vit C products (L-Ascorbic) will affect the integrity of the Vitamin C.
Water Sleeping Mask -- I have school in the morning and I know I won't be getting much sleep. This stuff is magic in a tub, helps with the "I-want-to-die" look I always have when I'm running on 4 hours. (aka helps my skin stay plump and glowy) I'll do a separate post about it eventually.
